Who We Are
Established in 2000 in Dhulikhel, Help and Care (Sahayog Ra Sarokar) organization was founded with a noble objective – to uplift the living standards of the various communities in Nepal through comprehensive training and awareness programs. Over the years, the organization has tirelessly served the Nepalese people by implementing a diverse range of initiatives. These include projects in health, literacy, agriculture, livestock, children’s programs and various income- generating activities.
Our Journey to Recognition
The journey to formal recognition began in 2003 when Help and Care initiated the legal registration process with the local District Administration Office in Dhulikhel. After two years of steadfast dedication and procedural rigor, the organization achieved a significant milestone on June 12, 2005, when it was formally registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with the distinguished registration number 853. Further strengthening its commitment to social welfare, Help and Care (Sahayog Ra Sarokar) obtained affiliation with the Social Welfare Council, Kathmandu, on July 11, 2005, under the affiliation number 18088. At the heart of Help and Care’s (Sahayog Ra Sarokar) mission lies the emphasis on literacy as a foundational element. Recognizing literacy as a powerful tool, the organization utilizes it to facilitate simple health trainings, promote environmental sanitation, introduce improved agricultural and livestock technologies, drive income generation programs, and children welfare programs. As Help and Care (Sahayog Ra Sarokar) continues to evolve and expand its impact, the organization remains dedicated to its founding principles, striving to empower communities and enhance the well-being of the people it serves.
